“Touching unconsciously”

From the series "365 Days to Be." This artwork explores the unconscious connection between our thoughts, emotions, and the surrounding environment, while also revealing the psychological response to the external world.

"Touching Unconsciously" is a portrait of a woman whose hair is transformed into jellyfish, symbolizing inner impulses that touch us without conscious awareness. Jellyfish, with their ability to sting and protect themselves, represent inner tension and the fear that arises when we try to let others into our world. They become a metaphor for emotional defense—protecting ourselves from others' influence, we may unintentionally cause pain to those who wish to be a part of our lives.

This piece invites reflection on the inner conflict: the desire to open up to others, yet the fear of being hurt. The jellyfish-like hair, both beautiful and dangerous, symbolizes our longing for security, but it also shows that sometimes, in the pursuit of self-protection, we may cause harm to those who only seek connection.

The artwork features a QR code, which, when scanned, opens my personal diary with philosophical reflections on human psychology, the fear of letting others in, and the delicate inner conflict between safety and openness. These are my daily entries, written from the inspiration of the creative process and personal experiences.

Canvas, acrylic. 100x100 cm.
